Wieden+Kennedy

A little less serious. A little more joy.

Joy didn’t promise to change your life. Just give you a good shave.

At Wieden+Kennedy, I helped develop Joy’s launch campaign from concept through design. Building on an existing logo, palette, packaging, and razor, our team brought its matter-of-fact humor to advertising, social, and the website.

01 / Building the brand world

Inspired by 70s stocking ads, we paired playful poses and close crops with illustrated hair and offbeat typography.

02 / JOY IN MOTION

Short films brought Joy’s playful imagery and dry humor to life: a good shave, without the grand promises.

03 / Out in the world

We adapted the campaign for social feeds, billboards, street panels, and subway placements.

04 / A website that plays along

For the launch website, I helped concept scroll-driven color shifts, a razor shaving a leg, and products that wiggled on hover. I created animated mockups to communicate the timing and personality.

05 / HELLO, JOY

An influencer launch event with POPSUGAR brought Joy’s color, oversized graphics, and playful product displays into a physical space.
